After 6.0 the V1 Card comes with 12 endpoint licences and the full 32 channels available pre 6.0 it only has 4 VCM Channels.  The VCM 32 V2 comes with no Endpoint Licences but with the full 32 channels opened up.

You need a VCM Card for Voicemail Pro, SIP Trunks, IP Phones.
